Treatments of Pest Control

Pest control is rarely a cut & dry treatment process. The type of pest you’re dealing with, the level of infestation, the location of the problem, and your environment can all play a part in choosing the best treatment option for your situation. We’ll perform a comprehensive evaluation of your problem upon inspection so that we can ensure the best chance of success with treatment the first time.

At Bug Off Exterminators, we use only environmentally safe EPA-approved materials. Our treatment options include the following:

• Dusts are placed in areas that are not readily accessible to people or pets, and where insects are likely to nest and hide. The dust ensures a wider range of coverage that is harder to avoid for pests and fills in cracks effectively so there’s nowhere to run.
• Baits are injected into joints not visible to people, and where insects and rodents are likely to feed. Consuming the toxic bait often slowly kills the pest from the inside, making even small amounts effective at killing larger bugs or rodents.
• Crystals are injected into the cracks and crevices where insects live, forcing them out of their nests or poisoning them. Crystals can reach places dusts cannot.
• Liquids are sprayed on surfaces where insects and rodents crawl, covering the area with a toxic substance that dries so that it is indistinguishable to the pests. They can also be used to outright kill some pests with direct application.
• Granules are spread around exterior building perimeters where pests gain interior access. These larger pieces are more weather-resistant and can cover more area, making them better than other options for outdoor use.
